THE STORY OF NEW YORK CITY’S FIRST MAC + CHEESE TRUCK
Mac Truck NYC is the brainchild of Staten Island native, chef, and food network star Dom Tesoriero.
A lifelong foodie, Dom is a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education. He got his start working in the kitchens of renowned NYC institutions Il Cortile, Framboise, and Lincoln Ristorante. A few years later, he was bitten by the food truck bug and soon began using his considerable culinary talents to make the best damn mac and cheese in New York City.
Dom was soon featured on the Food Network’s Rewrapped and then took a break from Mac Truck NYC to appear in Season 11 of Food Network Star.
Since then, he’s brought Mac Truck NYC to new heights, expanding his fleet, appearing at events all over New York State, and recently adding a new barbecue catering menu (complete with smoker!).
